Two back-to-back IBM Champions!

For over 15 years, the IBM Champion program has recognized individual experts and thought leaders who utilize IBM’s wide range of products, offerings, and technologies in hardware, software, analytics, and cloud computing, IBM acknowledges individuals each year who continuously work to share their knowledge and expertise with others. 

Nominations for IBM Champions are made in the fall of each year. Each candidate is evaluated based on their contributions to furthering the education of others on a unique IBM product or technology. These contributions come from a from a wide range of sources including: 

  • Writing books, white papers, or blogs 
  • Presenting at IBM or industry-leading conferences 
  • Mentoring or coaching individuals 
  • Organizing product-specific user group meetings 
  • Responding to complex technical issues in virtual product forums 
  • Creating videos highlighting a product’s features or best practices 

Each of these activities highlights the individual’s tireless commitment to share their subject matter expertise in helping others expand their knowledge within their IBM technical community. 

After nominations are received, the IBM Champion program team selects the individual top contributors as champions. This year’s 1,155 IBM Champions represent nearly 60 countries and have been recognized as IBM Champions for their work in 2023.

Maven is thrilled to announce that two of its employees have been recognized as 2024 IBM Champions: Matt Midas and Pam Denny.

Matt and Pam embody the importance of educating others through their continued work to share their knowledge, industry expertise, and experiences.
