  • End of Support for Maximo 7.6.1 Releases is September 30, 2025.
  • IBM Extended Support for 7.6.1.3 available for purchase through September 30, 2026. Includes new Sev 1 Critical defect fixes, but no proactive security fixes.
  • IBM Sustained Support for 7.6.1.3 available for purchase through September 30, 2030. Includes support for ‘how to’ fixes.  Does not include support for new defects or new security fixes.
  • MAS (Maximo Application Suite) 8.11 was released in September 2023.
  • From dashboard and work order application enhancements, new Issues Mobile app, and new Doc Attachment features – we’re loving this release.
  • Maximo Health is a natural progression to expand product usage within MAS.

  • MAS 8.11 introduces an integrated RCM library built from over 32,000 years of industry experience.
  • The library includes 58,000 Failure Mechanisms, 5,000 Preventative Maintenance tasks for over 800 critical assets to streamline data, research, and analysis.
  • And it’s Maximo roadmap is packed with Reliability Strategy Builders and Advanced Analytics.
  • MAS product versioning will standardize with the introduction of MAS 9.0 in 2024.
  • All MAS products (including Maximo Manage, Monitor, Health and Predict) will utilize the same version number within each release.  (e.g., MAS 9.0 will contain Maximo Manage 9.0 and Maximo Manage 9.0)
  • This will significantly simplify the complex versioning of the MAS 8 release stream.
  • MAS 8 has been released for just under 4 years.
  • The platform is the same.
  • The ‘first wave’ of large and small Maximo EAM clients have upgraded to MAS and are live in production.
  • The MAS 8 release stream introduced between 2 and 3 releases per year.
  • Starting with MAS 9.0 in 2024, IBM plans on releasing one MAS release per year.
