Over 100 Maximo users from across the globe brought together their Maximo skills and enthusiasm to explore IBM’s Maximo Application Suite. Forming 22 teams in the first-ever Maven Maximo MAStermind Hackathon – in just 2 weeks, the teams:

WORKED together to improve their MAS Knowledge.

EXPLORED the new capabilities of the application suite.

IDENTIFIED solutions that can be used to close the gap between available technologies and maintenance operations.

BUILT models for problematic assets to proactively improve and manage their health.

And wow!  The MAStermind Teams built incredible features as they explored various use cases with Maximo and other products in MAS.

Additionally, the teams provided insightful feedback based on their hackathon learnings in MAS. A small sampling of this included:

  • MAS is not as intimidating as we had thought and looks like previous versions.
  • We learned how to connect devices in Monitor and create dashboards for process data.
  • Exploring the new features and capabilities of Maximo was very helpful.
  • Very excited to work with the Monitor and Predict applications.
  • Having the freedom to explore the Monitor and Predict applications at my own pace was very interesting to me!
  • Having an advanced look at MAS to find out what would work best for my organization – was very helpful to our organization.

Maven Asset Management was thrilled to create this event. We would also like to thank our incredible sponsors from Arrow Electronics, IBM, Projetech, Reliability Web, and Reliability X and judges. And a big thank you to our seven Maven Coaches who supported the 22 teams with their questions, learning, and exploration of MAS.
