Meet Tom. He is a Project Manager.

Tom has been in the consulting industry for over 20 years, but in the Maximo industry specifically for 10 years. His favorite thing about Maven is the camaraderie, collegial environment, and leadership. He has a passion for being detail-oriented, staying positive, and caring for others. His favorite color is yellow, which seems fitting since yellow means happiness, positivity, energy, and joy.

He is inspired by anyone who can share their vision with passion and integrity. And in contrast, people who are capable of higher achievements but underperform are a pet peeve of his. Tom loves to meet people with a passion for what they do. He believes that to succeed you need to work hard and not quit. A favorite quote of his is, “Pain is temporary, quitting is permanent.” The quote is from Lance Armstrong, and Tom would love to meet him if given the opportunity.

If there was one thing Tom wishes he could learn to do better, it would be to become a better swimmer. His favorite place in the world is Ireland. So maybe Tom could start training to swim the North Channel between Northern Ireland and the Mull of Galloway? Then he could visit his favorite country in the world, become a better swimmer, and enjoy a big basket of Fish and Chips afterwards! This sounds like a win, win, win!

Speaking of wins, he believes Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are some of the coolest and most important wins in today’s world. We can’t wait to see where these things take us all!
